**FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS**

You are welcomed to have food catered from any restaurant located inside of the Queen City Quarter. That directory of options can be seen here:

You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks under these conditions:

ALCHOHOLIC DRINKS:

1) Can be shared amongst the event attendees in the form of wines, beers, champagnes, and cocktails only. No hard liquor is allowed.

2) The selling of alcoholic beverages is prohibited inside of the Rooftop at the MilliUp Event Center unless you have a temporary liquor license.

OUTSIDE CATERING:

1) You will need to provide catering insurance

2) You can pay an additional hourly rate, and we will provide insurance to you.

3) You can sign a complete waiver of all liability and accept any issues as your own at 100% responsibility, allowing you to have your outside catering free of charge.

**INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL FEE**

**PARKING**

We are located in Uptown-Charlotte and have paid parking options inside the Queen City Quarter garage as well as valet parking options for our guests. Parking is also available in parking lots and street metered parking around the area. In addition to this information, metered parking is free all day on Sundays and the light rail transit also has free parking garages. Exit the light rail at the spectrum arena to walk inside of the Queen City Quarter, home of the MilliUp Event Center.

*KEY POINTS FOR UPTOWN-CHARLOTTE PARKING:

*WEEKDAY EVENINGS: Free after 6 PM on most street meters.
*WEEKENDS: Free all day Sunday, and generally free Saturday evening after the weekday rush ends.
*WATCH FOR SIGNS: Look for bright orange signs or bagged meters indicating temporary “No Parking” zones for events or cleaning.
*RUSH HOUR: Avoid 7-9 AM and 4-6 PM on weekdays to prevent towing.

**DOWN PAYMENT**

The holding fee for this venue is $4000. This would secure your date and take the venue off of the market for your time slot. Your deposit is non-refundable. Your remaining balance would be due 10 days before the event start date. Failure to balance the ledger so would allow us withdraw the license to have the event, still allowing you to pay until it is the day of with additional promise. All payments are non-refundable.
